Montague Spurs AFC is a football club established in 1995, on the golden streets of Grassy Park and founded by the great mind of Shamiel Frank who continues to push the club's slogan of one team, one dream. We aim to use the game of soccer to provide adults and children with the opportunity to develop character as resourceful and responsible members of the community.e.g mental, social, physical and leadership development.

Goals & Objectives

Long Term (3 - 5 years)

Growing the Junior Teams to 3 teams per division from under 9 to under 15 and 2 teams for under 17 and the formation of an under 19 team. To acquire and develop either Olympic Avenue or School Of Industry as the Clubs official Home Grounds as per lease agreements with Council. The Development of a Club House on either of the below prospective venues which shall be purely for Club cost. Design and Implement a Club program which shall ensure speedy development and attraction of talented youths to achieve Semi-Professional status e.g. Formation of an under 19 team which can compete in the Bay Hill Tournament.

Action

Negotiations has already started with Council on acquisition of either Olympic Avenue or School of Industry for home grounds. Council has started preperation of temporary training field for Club as an interim. Next P.R.O. committee has been created to target businesswomen within the community for sponsorships in order to achieve financial requirements. Quarterly targets shall be set to ensure financial year end targets are achieved.
